SC Commercial Roofing has successfully completed a major roofing restoration at Milford House, a distinguished Grade II listed building in Milford, Belper. This extensive project was carried out in three phases to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship while preserving the building’s historical integrity.

The roof was fully stripped and carefully reinstated, with the original external slates meticulously repositioned to match their previous arrangement. New lead valleys and dormers were installed to enhance both durability and authenticity.

Additionally, angle cap ridges were reintroduced, replacing the modern concrete versions with historically accurate materials in keeping with the building’s original design.

As part of the restoration, the chimneys underwent full repointing, and various mortar repairs were completed to return the roof to its original condition. The project stands as a testament to SC Commecial Roofing commitment to quality workmanship and heritage conservation.
